Operator Training

Our operator training is provided by industry professionals. These persons are not only familiar with all crane signals and appropriate picking and carrying methods, they are professional riggers, with many years of experience with all types of picking and moving applications.

Your operators will be trained in the safety procedures for pre shift safety checks, and periodic checks for throughout the day’s work. These checks along with the proper operation will minimize wear and tear on the lifting devices, and need for costly down time.

The operators will be instructed by professionals with hands on experience in what to use their eyes, ears and noses for in the proper operation of overhead material handling devices. Upon proper completion of the course they will receive a suitable Diploma from Perfection Crane & Hoist, Inc.

Let us know how many of your operators you will have in the class, what shift you want the training done on, and we will let you know the first available date the class can be held. Sufficient hand outs will be available for the class and any safety meetings to be held in conjunction with the training.

The classes will also discuss:
• The new electronic devices that are now offered for overhead material handling devices.
• The proper class and rating for cranes and hoists and under what conditions they should be used.
• Daily, frequent, and periodic inspections.
• Safety reasons for a crane to be taken out of service.
• What needs to be done before a crane is placed back in service.
• Proper do’s and do not’s of operation and what an operator should do to prolong the useful life of the crane or hoist.
