Certified Safety Inspections
Hoists, Cranes, Runways, Support Structures, Slings, and below the hook devices to be inspected annually

Did you know that OSHA requires all hoists and cranes to be inspected annually with a written report to be available on site? When your crane goes down, so does your ability to move your product through the plant causing a loss of PRODUCTION, TIME and MONEY. These production losses alone can justify the cost of a periodic inspection and solid maintenance program.

Our program includes:

A written report for OSHA safety compliance for your records and a copy for ours.
Physical and audible inspection of all wheels.
Physical and audible inspection of all accessible gears.
Physical inspection of all brakes and adjustments as required.
Physical inspection of bottom block and hook assembly.
Physical inspection of all lubes and grease fittings.
Visual inspection of crane girders, runway, and suspension systems.
Visual inspection of all welds and bolted connections.
Audible inspection of all bearings when accessible.
Physical inspection and Functional Test of the electrical equipment.
Minor repairs and adjustments.
Physical inspection of the wire rope, chain, load sheaves, pocket wheel and/or drum.
Physical and visual Inspection of lifting devices w/ certification available.

We perform our inspection at intervals determined through conversation with our customer on duty cycle, type of service, safety, and production value of the equipment. We make a recommendation, but ultimately the customer decides the frequency of the inspection. After completion of the inspection by our factory trained technicians. Any severe conditions are brought to your immediate attention.

A computer generated copy of the inspection report is mailed shortly after for a permanent record that can be presented to insurance companies or OSHA inspectors. Within one to two weeks after the inspection, a separate deficiency report will be provided that itemizes the parts required by part number and price. This allows the customer the convenience of not having to consult their manuals for identification of the part numbers required to rectify the deficiency. At this point, you can choose to repair some, all or none of the items found to be deficient on the report. You can schedule repairs during equipment off hours, avoiding quick fixes during peak production. But if nothing else, you know what to watch for and what could go wrong.

There are many of our clients that are using our crews and services, and have cut their down time by a minimum of 90% meaning you can do the same and take the worry out of having to chase parts, components, service and full replacements by using our one stop shop.

We have gone so far as to say “Use our crew for a couple of days, if you are not satisfied, send them home and you owe us nothing.” I challenge any other company to make that statement and adhere to it. We do because we are the best at what we do, and as professional and safe as humanly possible.
